Commonwealth Hearing Services Program
Melbourne Audiology Centre will provide fully subsidised (FREE) or partially subsidised hearing aids to eligible Pensioners and Veteran Affairs cardholders under the Commonwealth Hearing Services Program.
Private Health InsuranceMost Private Health Insurance funds will cover part of the cost of your hearing aid purchase, depending upon your level of cover. You are advised to contact your health fund to see if this applies to you.
Tax OffsetYou are able to claim a medical expense tax offset for hearings aids and other health expenses. Further information can be obtained from your accountant or from the Australian Taxation Office on 13 28 61 or visit www.ato.gov.au
