My name is Nick Georgiou. I live at home with my wife and have two grown up married daughters and four adult grandchildren. I am a very active 77 year old and am also treasurer of the Senior Citizen’s of the Cypriot Community.

I started noticing that I would only hear half the words of a sentence, and was constantly asking my wife Helen to repeat what our friends were telling me. My family were getting frustrated with me as I was with myself. My daughter who works in an Audiology clinic suggested I go there as have a hearing assessment.

To cut a long story short, I now wear two hearing devices ( Delta 6000 ) which you can hardly see (which was one of my concerns).I hear the TV and our friends much better and clearer now. Not many people notice I am wearing the devices as they are the same color as my hair.

The service I received at Melbourne Audiology Centre was very professional and comforting as being a first time user of aids I was very concerned at how I would go about using them.
